Do files upload to a server?
Cloudflare AI runs first when available. If cloud mode is unavailable, browser transcription runs locally. We do not store your files or transcripts.
What files work?
The app accepts common audio files including MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, OPUS, WEBM, FLAC, and AAC. Browser support can vary by device, especially on iPhone.
Can I transcribe WhatsApp voice notes?
Yes, if you can save or share the WhatsApp audio file. Android and desktop are usually easiest. On iPhone, try saving to Files or downloading from WhatsApp Web/Desktop.
All transcription runs in your browser. Your audio file stays on your device and is not sent to our server for transcription.
